So unique! This celebration collector’s medal is asking to be a part of your or your loved one’s historical collection. Larger than a quarter. From my beloved late father-in-law’s coin collection. Enclosed in original plastic, never opened.
Created and distributed by the Martinez Area Chamber of Commerce to commemorate the 150th anniversary of John Muir’s birth, in 1988 (1838-1914). Struck in golden bronze and one of only 10,000 created. On the obverse is the finely sculptured bas-relief of the latest photograph of John Muir. On the reverse side is shown his old home in Martinez, California.
