Vintage H. Hargrove wooden framed oil painting of Americana. Features red antique plane on canvas with yellow background. Signed by artist H. Hargrove. H. Hargrove was born Nicolo Sturiano in Marsala, Italy in 1941. On his tenth birthday he was given a box of colored pencils that sparked an interest in art. In 1964 he immigrated to the United States and became an American citizen. He began his artist's careen by painting pictures of weathered barns and covered bridges that dotted America's landscapes. He adopted an American pseudonym by opening a telephone book.
