Rare 1948 Child’s Wolverine Delft 7-pc Canister Set(TC0822)Wolverine Supply & Mfg. Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania was established in 1903 by Benjamin F. Bain as tool and die operation. Wolverine agreed to tool a sand toy for a company that failed and Wolverine was left with tooling for sand toys. The company then developed an impressive line of Sandy Andy toys and a large line of housekeeping toys such as stoves, sinks, refrigerators, washing machines, cleaning sets, tea sets, salad sets and more.This is a rare set of Wolverine Delft Canister Set, consisting as follows:2-pc Flour Canister with lid2.75in H, 3in in diameter2-pc Coffee Canister2.25in H, 2in in diameter2-pc Tea Canister2in H,1.5in in diameterAll canisters are in very good vintage condition with minimal wear such as paint loss, surface rust, scratches, etc. as shown in photos.
