Marked F.M.C 1953. Hand painted. No chips, very good vintage conditions. Just some spots of top layer of paint off.

Produced by the famous Faience Manufacturing Company, in Brooklyn (Greenpoint), New York.
This is a great example of an American pottery art from the 50-ties of the last century: an Oriental chalk ware pair of figurines in the festive clothing in red color in the traditional sitting position.
