Earthenware bottle: It is cracked- but do not know, if it has actually been glued! It is Salt Glazed, the handle is cracked, it probably shouldn't be carried by it! The jug has mostly hairline cracks; it does have a few deep cracks; but, I have never put liquid into it. This and two others only used for decoration. These were in my Grandparents' Motel in Ogunquit, Maine. They brought them; when they moved to their South Florida home. The proximity of its origin is the New England Area. The jug has LEWIS & CADY, Fairfax, V.t Stamped on the neck.
