Here we have a lovely US Lincoln Memorial One Cent set from 1960. It features two one cent coins which have the small date imprinted, and two coins which feature the large date.
The US Mint started producing the small date coins in 1960 but quickly became concerned in case the small date letter would chip or become clogged, so they increased the size of the letters. They thought no one would notice but soon it was spotted and the coins became collectible.
These four coins are set in a black coin holder and a Perspex case.
