★ This is a vintage Montblanc fountain pen from the 1950s.
It is a model from the 40s series of the 1950s.
The nib is 14K gold, so the model number is 40G.

This is an early model of the Monte Rosa, manufactured and sold from 1954 to 1956. It is a beautiful fountain pen with a streamlined silhouette and depth.

This fountain pen does not have the snow (white star) mark on the cap top, but the cap ring has a wavy design that represents the snow on the Mont Blanc summit.
The cap is engraved with MONTBLANC MONTEROSA.

The nib is made of 14K gold and is engraved with MONBLANC 14C 585 MONTBLANC. The nib size is M (medium).
