This is a beautiful and authentic 1882 sterling silver English fusee pocket watch, housed in a hallmarked case by Robert John Pike (RJP), assayed in London.

Case Material: Sterling Silver (.925)
Assay Marks: Lion Passant, Leopard’s Head (London), Date Letter “G (1882)
Maker: RJP – Robert John Pike
Movement: Key-wound, thick fusee movement (serial #CN 36648)
Dial: Roman numerals with sub-second dial

Condition: Untested, I do not have a pocket watch key to test this with, however, the balance is good and if you shake the watch and put it up to your ear, you’ll hear a tick for a few seconds.

Obviously, no key is included

Size: Standard full size, approx. 50mm case diameter

This is a classic late-Victorian English pocket watch with a fusee movement — a highly collectible design that’s increasingly rare. The thick key-wind movement and silver case make it a standout piece for any antique horology collection.
