It’s her majesty’s state coach finished in gold gilt! From Britain’s, #44D, it’s a die cast, gilded carriage drawn by 8 of the famous royal horses known as the “Windsor Greys.” Measuring 8-1/4”x1”, the carriage was built for the coronation of King George lll in 1761, & this model was produced by Britain’s of England in 1953 to commemorate the crowning of the late Queen Elizabeth ll. Then, the Coach was just used by King Charles on his coronation day as well, & it was looking as gorgeous as the day it was built! The attention to detail is astounding, from the royal guards upon the horses to the swags on the windows & spokes on the wheels that make the model move! Yes - it does move! This beauty is in EVC, as it was always just displayed in a loved ones curio. One that is pristine as this is more difficult to find - in most cases they were played with, so the guards, the wheels, or points on the carriage have been broken off. As much as I’m a fan of the royals, I’m downsizing for retirement & can’t take it all with me, so I’m hoping this treasure can find its way into a new forever home!* I don’t issue returns or partial refunds, so please view pics & read description thoughtfully, thanks for understanding!
