This is a fantastic piece of folk art is handcrafted by the indigenous people of Mexico.
The piece is one of the largest we have ever come across 25 x 17 x1 .
This was purchased in Mexico in 1973.
Stunning muted rose colored metal frame.
The painting is just memorizing. There are three birds or peacocks muted in the foilage of many colors and shapes.
Truly, an amazing piece of handmade Amate painting.
This piece is in great condition, however the back of the frame shows some water damage. None to the piece itself.
