In the fourth year of the Taisho era, the first practical mechanical pencil in Japan was invented, and at that time only 15 were made. Platinum fountain pen faithfully reproduced the exterior of one of them preserved in the Sharp Historical Museum, and created a twist-out locking ballpoint pen. As it is made of silver, there may be some tarnishing, but it is natural and not dirt. If you are concerned, polishing it with silver polish will make it very beautiful.
