Manufactured in Brittany, France c1970, this four-piece set of bowls of Henriot Quimper’s Campagne pattern is an iconic example of French Faience pottery.
This bowl set shows grand feu and faience blanche techniques that brings out the white and colorful red, blue and green glossy colors on the flowers and Breton style man and woman. This pattern is well known for its folk art style, readily recognizable to many collectors of faience pottery that has been produced by Quimper since the 17th century.
This set of four hand-painted bowls are each unique and made of high-quality ceramic pottery.
