3 Women and 1 Child showing Colorful Fashion from 1900 known in a black border design. The early 1900's for its extravagance & elegance as well as adherence to stringent social norms. Children were often dressed like mini adults, boys in sailor uniforms. Dresses were known for being worn over corsets and petticoats. Tops being loose & blousy with small waists due to corsets with dramatic sleeves. Petticoats helped mold a smooth front and full back silhouette. Modesty was important with coverage from Neck to Floor. Research showed this was made in the 1980's....
