She fought early trends to confine women in corsets and wanted to provide looser shoulders, collarless garments, and stylish fashion. She loved woolens and silks and this suit has all the hallmarks we come to immediately recognize as Chanel.
100% authentic; vintage blazer with wear as shown in photos, including jacket lining repairs at underarms and shoulders, and underarm “halos” (e.g, yellowing/fading.) Exterior shows pilling & wispies; although bouclé itself has a thready/fuzzy quality inherently. Item is in need of dry cleaning with light soiling throughout. Coloration of exterior bouclé remains bright and style is impressive and iconic.
