Forming in Cardiff in Wales in the mid-1980s, with Steevi Jaimz on vocals, Jay Pepper on lead guitar, Pepsi Tate on bass and Ace Finchum on drums Tigertailz recorded their snotty and street smart debut 'Young And Crazy' in 1987. Signing to influential heavy metal label, Music For Nations (Metallica, RATT), their first record is considered a classic of 1980s British glam and hair metal. As Wales's answer to Mötley Crüe, through songs such as 'Shoot To Kill' and 'Livin' Without You', they found fans in the pages of Kerrang! And Sounds, the most influential rock and metal magazines of the time. The band found commercial success with the more radio friendly and commercially orientated 'Bezerk' in 1990, propelled into the Top 40 album charts by the single 'Heaven', plus the bubblegum classic 'Love Bomb Baby', a song that has become their calling card.
