This classic Morgan Jones "Minuet" chenille bedspread dates to the 1940's and early 50's. Its claim to fame is as the spread that appeared on Lucy and Ricky's beds in the I Love Lucy series. It's a classic early American floral hobnail design similar to the George Washington by Bates. It has a central medallion surrounded by stylized flowers. Three sides are adorned with 3" fringe.Made for a full/double bed, it measures approximately 100" x 105" (including the 3" fringe on 3 sides) and is in good but not perfect condition with no rips, tears, pulls or odors but it does have several light faded stains on its central field (see photos). Fabric has great weight and quality. Perfect for those who embrace the shabby chic or a great cutter for projects.
