Marie Rogers (1922 - 2010) was active/lived in Georgia. Marie Rogers is known for Folk art sculpture, face jug pottery. Marie Rogers is one of a rare breed - one of the few women folk potters around, the last practitioner of the Jugtown Georgia pottery tradition, and the only female Jugtown potter. She was born in 1922 down in country about two miles North of Jugtown. This piece that’s up for sale is a great piece. Signed . Overall condition is very good other then in the move the leg broke off and I can’t find it. So it is missing a leg but great hard to find piece. See pictures this piece is 9” tall x 3” w
