This long out of print classic history was an Award-winning pioneering reassessment of the Antislavery Movement by the eminent historian Dwight Lowell Dumond (1895-1976), long-time professor at the University of Michigan. This richly illustrated oversized hardback offers excellent scholarship and accessible prose for non-specialists.

It is very hard to locate this book today, and even harder to find it in this excellent condition. Not an Ex-Library! This has been in my private collection for four decades and well-cared for. The covers look new. The binding is tight, the pages clean and unmarked.

This list price is lower than other online offers in this condition! Smoke free home.
