Vintage Tribal Ethnic Statement Necklace Gujarat India . Traditional Jewellery

Heavy ~ Vintage ~ Tribal / Ethnic ~ Hand crafted ~ statement necklace from Gujrat/ India ~ Necklace features a large amulet pendant with glass and rhinestones on front side which is attached to a floral chain with glass panels in between ~ Back has adjustable thread ~ Similar style of necklace is featured in Oppi Untracht's "Traditional Jewelry of India" on page 178 and this style of necklace are called Chandan har or gallegi (photo attached ) Unmarked but most likely lower grade silver or mix metal ( did not test positive for sterling silver ) .Measurements :Necklace can be adjusted according to neck length , front is approx. 24 inches in length x 2 1/2 inches max width ~ Central amulet pendant adds 2 3/4 inches in drop length x 3 1/2 inches max width Weighs 250 grams on my weighing scale .Condition :Good vintage condition ~ Heavy age patina to silver ~ Some surface wear to silver ~No repair or damage seen ~ adjustable cord is in fairly good condition , shows some discoloration .Please Note ~ As vintage items are previously loved /used please do expect some minor wear like surface wear /dents /dings and metal discoloration .
