Crystal ball was painted hand from inside-painted glass art. Artists usually insert a very fine brush through that hole and paint in reverse inside the orb. The detailed brush strokes on the flowers and trees, plus the way the colors layer, strongly suggest hand-painting rather than a printed or factory mass-production.
