Nice unique and chunky smoky Quartz crystal - with some red epidote and green tourmaline inclusions.
This beautiful Smoky Growth Interference Quartz crystal is from a limited find in Itamarandiba, Minas Gerais, Brazil. This was a small find where the crystals exhibited both unique growth interference indications as well as rare inclusions of Red Epidote, otherwise known as Piemontite. Piemontite is a member of the Epidote family, and grows in beautiful reddish brown cylindrical forms with gorgeous luster. On top of that, this crystal features Green Tourmaline inclusions.
Metaphysically, smoky quartz is believed to be grounding in nature. Green tourmaline is thought to be emotionally supportive.
This crystal is heavy and thick with multiple textural variations, many from the inner rutile terminations and inclusions coming to the surface of the polished crystal.
Weighs almost a pound at 429g. 3.11” tall x 2.76” length x 2.13” width
