A truly wild specimen of superb and rare Sceptered Amethyst. This is from a very old collection of Polar minerals from a German collector. He only collected specimens that he dug himself or on the rare occasion a fellow collector would trade with him. That was the case with this specimen. It came from a fellow rockhounds private property closest to the Dalnegorsk Region. It is extremely dark in color for the Region and has Goethite inclusions which I have npt seen before from a Russian Amethyst Specimen.
