A beautiful double terminated Anthraxolite included Black Phantom Herkimer Diamond from Saint Johnsville,NY. This was acquired from the mine owner as part of his personal collection. Crystal Grove is the name I believe. Herkimer Diamond specimens like this are extremely rare. Why? Because of the black Anthraxolite Rod running through the middle of the crystal and terminating in the center. Anthraxolite inclusions are common but not as centrally terminating rods. This crystal has top luster top luster and sharp form. It is a good size and and very pleasing to the eye.
