Found on only one place on Earth. A very aesthetic cluster of Vorobeyevite Rosterite Blue Beryl and Tourmaline on Matrix from Badakshan Afghanistan. Really nice quality Vorobeyevite. Sharp gemmy crystals with incredible chatoyance that cant be captured and fully appreciated in pictures. The cluster of blue beryls have amazing silver blue color saturation that really stands out on display. The terminations are etched and create a distinct look to the Vorobeyevite. There are pink Tourmaline crystals mostly hidden beneath the Vorobeyevite. They can be seen in a few areas where the Vorobeyevite us not growing over top. The specimen can double as a very interesting micro mount with at least 4 different species of mineral intermixed in the sparkling matrix. The matrix has some beautiful quartz crystallization as well as what appears to be some unknown type of Black Spheroidal Crystal and Brown Spheroidal Crystal. A really cool piece in good condition.
