Vintage Early 1970s Christian Dior Jumpsuit – Wide-Leg Sheer Overlay, Satin Belt

Authentic early 1970s Christian Dior USA wide-leg jumpsuit, designed during Marc Bohan’s era. Features a sheer polyester overlay with a crisp exaggerated collar, powder blue satin-covered buttons, and a matching wide satin belt. Looks like a gown from a distance, but is actually a fluid, romantic pantsuit with vintage charm.Originally sold at high-end department stores in the early 1970s, similar Dior USA designs retailed for around $100 at the time—equivalent to over $800 today.Measures approx. 56" shoulder to hem, 20" armpit to armpit, 28" waist with elastic stretch, 23" sleeve, 27" inseam, 9" rise, and 21" wide pant leg opening. Made in the USA, style 9H25. Labeled union-made by the ILGWU (early ‘70s label style).Condition notes: Light staining on the pant hem, a small spot on the left sleeve, and discoloration on the belt.
