This is the 6th Annual Report of the Bureau of Ethnology to the Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution by J.W. Powell, 1184-'85, printed in 1888.
The book is illustrated and focuses on Ancient art of the province of Chiriqui, Colombia; A study of the textile art in its relation to the development of form and ornament; Aids to the study of the Maya codices; Osage traditions; The Central Eskimo.
Although everything on this inside is legible/free of anything impeding readability, the exterior shows signs of age and wear.
