Hand-carved, Chinese ivory puzzle box, called the Crucifix Puzzle. Only, the cross in this puzzle isn’t a crucifix. This is the complete puzzle, with all of the pieces present. It dates from about 1850, and is in remarkably good shape. This is an incredibly rare piece, and took me 25 years of searching to find it.
