Vintage British Navy Trench Coat
This is a rare authentic 1950s British Army trench coat.
While the trench coat originated in the British Army, authentic examples are hard to come by.
Made by SWALLOW
This coat has a sophisticated pattern typical of British vintage, but also possesses a rugged charm characteristic of military wear.
It has served as inspiration for brands like Anatomica.
The cotton lining, tags, and beige color are beautiful. It looks cool even worn inside out, in a vintage style.
As is the fate of old wool, there are some small holes, and there is a slightly larger repair on the bottom button of the front, but the detachable chin strap and waist belt remain.
Vintage clothing stores specializing in British items sell these for around 70,000 to 80,000 yen, but I'm selling this one at a lower price because it's in an unmaintained condition. It would also be a good piece for reference.
