Unused plush hand towel with bright primary colors bus car & truck by Marimekko vintage 1980's designed by the Japanese textile artist Katsuji Wakisaka, He was trained at the Kyoto School of Art & Design & was one of the two Japanese textile artists that were invited to Scandinavia to work for the design company Marimekko in the 1980's. Katsuji Wakiska introduced bold new aesthetics to Marimekko and is famously known for creating the Bo Boo print - a minimalist flattened style of cartoon-like playful graphics for living rooms and nurseries.
This hard-to-find hand towel was made by CASTLE by DUNDEE and is in excellent unused vintage condition. About 15x27 inches.
