A beautiful piece, so charming and unique! Vintage luster ware wall pocket, unmarked but likely made in Japan. I believe the birds are swans.
Approximately 6 1/2” height, 4 1/2” width, and 3” front to back. There are some glaze skips and pops consistent with this era MIJ ceramics, also small rough spots on the tops of 3 of the swan heads, similar to kiln marks, overall lovely condition.
