Vintage,Japanese (?) Saki Single Serve Pot/Pitcher. Beautiful! Metal (Aluminum? Stainless Steel?). The inner pot seems too small for tea. Top and bottom are shiny Silver-tone, outer sides are brushed Silver-tone metal with intricate Chinese(?) designs of a Dragon (associated with the Emperor and a Vermilion Bird (associated with the Empress). Handles are brass and fold down. 1 1/4 in cap/lid has little turtle with it's head extended. The inner pot lifts out and has a small spout. It displays beautifully, and the Dragon and Vermilion bird (?) are quite dramatic. Great conversation piece! Very good pre-owned condition with light wear consistent with age. Approximately 4 1/2 in tall X 2 in across base X 3 in across top X 4 in at widest. Weighs about 12oz.Examine all pictures as they are part of the description.
