This a beautiful vintage 1950's Japanese clutch purse. This wonderful clutch purse is made of black velvet and has been hand beaded with white and clear seed beads in a unique flower and leaf pattern accented with gold embroidery. It is in the style of CoryII of Tokyo, Japan. This clutch bag is in excellent condition both inside and out, except for a small white smudge next to the larger inside pocket where a tag was originally attached, (see inside photo). The interior is lined with black satin and has one generous main compartment and two side compartments. The flap can be closed and secured with a snap which works great. This vintage purse has been well cared for. It measures 10 1/4 x 4 1/2 X 1 inches. It has a depth of just under 4 inches. The inside pockets, with their gold colored piping on top, measure 2 inches and 4 1/2 inches respectively.
