An extremely rare example of a Translucent Blue Yellow Black Star Sapphire from India. These were mined out long ago from the region. Not often are they seen on the market these days. When back-lit the gem appears as Blue and Yellow but when light shines on the front it appears as a Black Sapphire displaying good asterism. The star has fluid motion and nice even legs to it. Most all the ones you see on the market today are treated in some way. Not this gem. This gemstone is unheated and untreated.
This is the only one I have like this.
Metaphysically speaking Black Star Sapphire activates the root and earth star chakras. In addition this specimen activates the Sacral and Throat Chakras.
