Gorgeous Rare Italian PV White Glazed Pottery 3 Piece Tureen Gargoyle Accents

A rare PV (Pheasant Village) White Glazed pottery, Tureen featuring three mythical gargoyle like creatures with breasts and wings. This sale includes three of the pottery pieces, Lid Tureen and Ladle. Very hard to come across a vintage tureen set with all three intact like this one. This set has gorgeous, classic details such as the crown knob at the top of lid. All the beautiful ribbing and the feet are the Gargoyle's feet. And of course, the three creatures with wings are so unique. The pottery is terra cotta and you can see it is when you look at the underside of the piece and see the orange at the feet and a few small spots where the glaze is not totally covering the terra cotta. The piece is in very, very nice condition. I found a small area. See my pics pointing it out where the glaze did not quite cover. (Manufacturing flaw) and the only other thing was a small scratch on the base of ladle (see pic) An elegant and very gorgeous rare piece. Measures 9 inch diameter 6..75 inches high with lid. 5 inches high without lid. Peace has the PV base mark number 7100. Non smoking pet free home.
