First edition (print number not stated) oversized hardcover copy of Chicago Golf Club 1892-1992 with contributions from multiple authors (Chicago Golf Club, 1991). Tells the rich history of the iconic golf course and country club in Illinois. With dozens of photographs and illustrations. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges including chipping, creasing and small tears. Larger tear to top edge of front cover near fore corner. Boards are straight and clean but with corners slightly bumped. Binding is firm and spine is straight. Glue used in binding process has stained the endpapers near hinge, but this appears to only be a cosmetic issue. Staining to bottom outer edge of text block, otherwise pages are clean and unmarked though tanned. See photos for condition.
