Vintage Copco 113 Sauce Bowl Warmer Yellow Enamel Cast Iron Original Box Denmark

This little enameled cast iron sauce pan is in the original box with the cast iron tea light stand and candle. They were designed by Michael Lax for Copco in the 60s! The enamel color is a gorgeous bright yellow.The pan holds about a pint. People often refer to them as butter warmers but they are also great for keeping any sauce or gravy warm on the table. The bottom rim of the cast iron stand has glossy black enamel to protect your table from the cast iron.The original box is included and is very sturdy but has some wear. Good for storage though--enamelware can get dinged up when stored with other pots and pans, and the cast iron stand can scratch other things! The original cardboard liner is still there so you can nest the base inside the pan without scratched the enamel. The instruction booklet is not included.CONDITION: the base is in pristine shape. The pan is nearly perfect except for a very tiny chip of the enamel by the spout (see picture).Hand wash only and be sure to dry the base immediately. The base WILL rust in the dishwasher in just one cycle! And as with all enamelware, avoid acidic foods like tomato sauce. Acid will dull the enamel and so does dishwasher detergent over time.Overall height: 5 1/2"
