Jack Levine hand signed etching of Nymph & Warlock, matted and framed under glass.
Pencil signed and numbered 39/100, this drypoint etching of Nymph and Warlock by Jack Levine (1915- 2010) is a wonderful example of the artists bitingly satirical works.

The original was produced in 1965. This print edition is from 1966.
The bronze-gilded wooden frame measures 17 wide x 23 high x 1 deep, with a glass front. The mat and print edges have become wavy. Mat has a couple small smudges (see photos); should be reset or replaced. No signs of moisture. The gallery backing paper has been torn off.

The DC Moore Gallery in New York has represented the estate of Levine, and today his works can be found in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C., and the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, among others. Levine died on November 8, 2010 in New York, NY
