First edition hardcover copy of Gunnar Widforss: Painter of the Grand Canyon by Bill & Frances Belknap (Northland Press for Museum of Northern Arizona, 1969). Signed on title page by renowned landscape artist, John Sinclair Manson. Unknown whether this was signed for a collector or if this was a part of his personal collection. Very hard to find art book about the life and art of the acclaimed painter whose favorite subject was the Grand Canyon. Jacket protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with rubbing/scuffing to faces and wear around the edges - including chipping, creases and tears, some of which are taped together on reverse side. Small stained are to bottom right corner of front cover. Boards straight and clean but with corners bumped. Binding material visible in a few gutters though spine is straight and binding remains fairly strong on the whole. All pages clean and unmarked though tanned. See photos for condition.
