This two-part cheese dish from Grimwades has a pretty chintz pattern. Pink, yellow, and blue flowers peek out from tiny black flower sprays on a white background. Marked, “Grimwades/ Stoke-On-Trent”. Grimwades Ltd. is the company responsible for the introduction of Royal Winton Chintz in 1928, and this piece is a forerunner of that endeavor. There is a stain on the plate from use, otherwise this set is in very good condition. Length: 8 5/8 inches; width: 6 3/8 inches; height 5¼ inches. Vintage, circa 1908. Price reduced: was 85.
