We are pleased to offer this nice Cowan Pottery Denset Tobacco Jar. The jar has the customary Cowan mark on the bottom and is signed #924. The body is a nice reddish-brown with a shiny glaze overlay. The body of the jar shows a Native American hunting and nature scene. The jar is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or hairlines. It is extra nice condition. It is roughly 3 1/2 inches tall by about 3 1/2 inches wide. We believe Cowan started producing these in 1929, so nice old piece of Cowan pottery.
