A beautifully colored Sunset hued Red Blood Amber with a mosquito included within it from Burma. This Amber Burmite is gorgeous and not often found at the mine. The color is beautiful and the clarity is nice. The mosquito is well preserved and aesthetically positioned. This is a piece of history frozen in time from the age of the dinosaurs! This is a rare color hue and is highly desirable compared to regular colored Amber. The cabochon needs a final polish to show its full potential. This was mined by candlelight by the local indigenous peoples of Burma. The mosquito is most easily visible in the 2nd photo and was very difficult to capture with photos.
