I finally got around to making a red roan I actually like! I started with the Breyer Stablemate G1 Citation, removing his Breyer logo and seams, and carving his ears, nostrils and mouth. He's been repainted to a red roan pinto with earth pigments, acrylics, and colored pencils, and his eyes, nostrils, mouth, and hooves are glossed.
His white markings are lightly textured, but you have to look close to really notice it (he's quite small), and he would be a stunning addition to any Breyer collection. This model measures about 2 7/8 tall. He is not a toy, but is intended as an art piece, and should be handled with care.
