Antique Chinese Fine Silver Filigree and Scrimshaw Bone, 5 Panel Chinese story Bracelet 7 . This is a very unique bracelet, there are only a couple out there when I researched them. Made sometime between 1850 - the early 1900's. Scrimshaw is the art of carving and engraving on ivory, bone, sea shell, antler and cow horn (these are made of bone.) I tried to research what the story might be but could not get any info on it. This is a great collectors piece for anyone who loves collecting antique and vintage jewelry. this would also make a great gift. There are 5 panels with slight differences in each one. The center panel is upside down. This item is preowned, I did not clean it, I just lightly wiped it with a soft cloth to get any surface dust off so that I could get good pictures. As you can see in the pictures the wire links are broken/missing on some of the panels. There is natural aging/patina on the silver. Please view all pics and zoom in for further details.
