This collection is excellent, it exhibits pennies from 1859 to 1909 Indian Head Penny up through each decade of Wheat Penny such as 1910’s, 1920’s, 1930’s, 1940’s, & 1950’s. With of course the two early decades 1910’s & 1920’s being hard to find! In addition, it features a special Steel Planchet 1943 Wheat Penny, a one year only transitional Steel Penny during a time when copper was needed. Moving over to nickels, this set features a Liberty V Nickel, Buffalo Nickel, & Early Jefferson Nickel. The Liberty V Nickel being the oldest one and a scarce harder to find early nickel series, which lasted from 1883 to 1912.
