Absolutely magnificent piece by esteemed San Franciscan jeweler, Constant J. Auger. Signed, see photo.
This ring has Platinum with Iridium, a process that has not been done for over 100 years according to the jeweler because of the rarity of the mineral, Iridium. Iridium comes from meteorites, which makes it extremely costly and rare. This ring is very, very special based on the historical value and the contents. This has been verified by my jeweler.
C.J. Auger pieces rarely come up and are sometimes sold at high-end auctions.
I did include photos of a document which mentions C. J. Auger in 1917 in which he was part of a resoultions committee that year in the Jewelers' Circular Weekly.
