I bought this Devil with the intention of replacing the screws. I replaced one but the other crumbled and I do not have the time or tools to fix it. I believe part of the screw is stuck and was told a jeweler could probably fix it. I haven’t been able to follow up on this.
HOWEVER, the tamagotchi DOES function! I tested it and played with it for a few days. If you have a Mothra, this tama is similarly very loud. Why it’s loud, I don’t know. It’s since been stored away carefully.
These devils are very, very rare! Only made as a limited run in 1998 as far as I know.
I have a new baby and this tama being so loud really prohibits me from playing with it further. So off it goes to a new home!
