I was informed that this item was made in the early 1950s. On the AM/FM switch there is also AFC setting. This item works great however it will need a power cord. Picture number 6 indicates what power cord would be required. This item has some very very minor scrapes and is in very good condition. The back vent, that's usually filled with dust, is clean.
