My mom got these Barbie dolls brand new from her aunt back in the 1990s. (At the time, her daughter was an executive at Mattel Toys) my wife was already in her late thirties so needless to say, they weren't played with. they've been sitting in the closet for years and she decided it's time to let them go. These Barbie dolls are in new condition. The dolls are still attached to the interior box backing never being removed. The boxes have some wear from being stacked on top of each other for many years.
