Long French copper footed planter Delft Style porcelain handles, Jardinière, Window sill planter, blue & white porcelain handles
Burnished w/age, but clean & beautiful with no damage, this jardiniere was purchased in France in the 60s.
It has lovely blue Delft ceramic handles, and stands on tiny copper feet attached to its rounded bottom.
This elegant copper pot, to which I kept this special patina for an extra character & authenticity, is an element of interior decoration fashionable in the period 1920s -1940s in Western Europe, in French style. It can be used as a flower pot on the window sill because it is waterproof.
Due to the shape, the color and the patina it can be exactly the central element you need to give warmth to an ultramodern space.
From end to end, including the handles, it measures 14” long and stands 4” high. Its width is exactly 3 3/8”.
A very charming, collectible piece!
