Originally one of a pair of identical lamps I purchased 20 years ago at an estate sale. This is all I have left is this one lamp with the diffuser and as you can see it is still in amazing condition ... there are no chips or scratches or rips in the leather-clad twist exterior. I can only list this as Russel Wright era and not Russel Wright even though I personally feel it is one of his lamps. Authenticity is the responsibility of the buyer and if you're not interested in this lamp then please go on and look at something else and I will not get into a discussion about pedigree. Serious collectors know that most of the lamps were never signed and so we'll never know exactly what Russel Wright produced ...we only have few photos and some documentation. The on and off knob MAY be a replacement as it hugs the socket unusually close. ORIGINAL silk cord should be replaced / rewired. 19 H to socket top and 16 H to top of leather w 5.5 D base. 25 years experience. SAFE
